No more Vent!!!

Jami is off the vent and breathing all on her own. She still has to use the bi-pap machine at night to help keep her breathing deep enough, but this is the best she's looked in months! She actually sleeps through the night now and wakes up in the morning ready to start the day. She's off of the oxycodone and is down to only the fentanyl 25's now (She was on the 75's two weeks ago). It's great because she's so bright eyed now and she is back to talking and joking. She was even singing for my mom and me yesterday when we were moving her around in bed. Her bed sore is looking soooo much better too! Wow! So many good things to report this time. She is able to drink clear liquids again, but she is having some nausea so she's not drinking much. We still aren't sure how long she'll be in ICU, but she's getting more healthy all the time.
