Slow and steady

Jami is slowly, but surely getting better. They actually think she might be able to go home within the next few days even. The residents came in and we were giving them the third degree about different things. We did find out that one of the new tumors is right where they think the bowel perforation is...wretchedness! Surgery doesn't seem like an option right now, but maybe things will start going better and she'll start going potty again. Ok, so you know my family is nutty...if you've been reading the blog there is just no question about it. When Jeff was little my mom had a big nice truck on the fridge that he got to play with if he used the potty. If he had an accident it was taken away and put back on the fridge. Of course Jami and I were jealous because we never got toys for going potty. Yesterday when we were talking to the doctors we were teasing Jami that we needed to get a truck and put it on the fridge and if she went potty she would get it. The thing is she doesn't really care about a truck, so I suggested we should use her Maalox instead. Don't mess with that girl's Maalox :)

Jami obviously isn't considering all her possibilities. She would like a truck reward as long as it's life-size with a working motor, heater, air conditioner, and less than a year old. Just ask, I bet she would like it, especially if Mulvihill gave it to her :)
