A small outing

So for those of you who don't know my Aunt Marilyn is getting a new house. She's been keeping her blog updated and letting us know how things are going. Jami has been insistent that the house would have been a lot easier to build if it were just 2x4's and a tarp. She doesn't understand why Marilyn wasted all that money :) Marilyn posted a picture of a sign that magically appeared in her yard.



Jami knew that this wasn't the true sign though. So...off we went to Elko to get the REAL picture. I bet most of you didn't know that a hospital bed could do 80 down a freeway, but it can. Don't worry...Jami was wearing sunglasses and we had the restraints on her...safety first after all. Here's the REAL picture. (click on it to see the detail of the sign)



Jami cried for a bit about the fact that Marilyn would not give her credit for all of her hard work, but she has gotten over it. Especially because we hit the Jackpot playing the slots at the gas station.



That's right...Those are quarters she's counting...so ha!

In all seriousness, Jami is doing MUCH better today. They started the antibiotics back up and she's looking a lot better. They have her legs wrapped to try to get rid of some of the water retention. Her poor toes look like sausages. The quarters are a gift from Lois (Thank you Lois). Jami was feeling good enough that while my mom, dad and I went to dinner she sat and watched TV and counted them.
